Suzuhara Misa (Bunny Girl Style) – Zettai Junpaku: Mahou Shoujou (Ques Q) – Review
We’re back with another figure review! This time, let’s check out Ques Q’s Suzuhara Misa (Bunny Girl Style) figure!
Misa is one of the stars of the popular Zettai Junpaku: Mahou Shoujou hentai series, created by Honjou Raita. It’s no secret that I’m a fan of Raita’s work, and we’ve already covered a couple of figures based on his illustrations. These include Fate/Grand Order’s Minamoto no Raikou, Valkyria Chronicles’ Selvaria Bles, and Misa’s fellow Mahou Shoujou star, Kuramoto Erika.
Misa is a 1/7 scale ABS &PVC figure, standing roughly 270mm (about 10.5 inches) tall. She sports a ¥15,800 RRP (tax excluded), putting her on the pricier side. It’s worth noting that this figure is available in two other colour schemes – black and pink – which are more exclusive than the standard purple.
With her long, slinky legs and exaggerated bosom, Misa is an eye-catching woman. Her prominent breasts are accentuated by a choice of three pairs of cups for her bunny suit. Each is individually fitted, allowing you to mix and match. Unfortunately, none of them actually cover her nipples, which might be a deal-breaker for some.
If you can look past that, though, you’ll find a finely detailed sculpt that really draws out the charms of the bunny girl style. Misa’s uncertain expression as she presents her breasts is very appealing, and I really like the way her lopsided bunny ears droop and crease.
Misa’s excellent sculpting is complimented by a lovely paint-job. Her soft, pale skin and the smooth, matte sheen of her tights bring extra oomph to the glossy, glittery body-piece. Under the spotlight, she really dazzles, and the colours pop nicely. It’s a very appealing figure to look at.
As far as I could tell, there were no significant manufacturing flaws on my figure apart from a small mark on her thigh. The paintwork and decals, equally, are crisp and clean. It’s an overall very well made figure, and well presented, too. The stand is understated and classy, and the bar-stool support looks good and works well. You won’t need to worry about her toppling over, and there’s hardly any assembly.
Overall, I’m impressed with Ques Q’s work. This is a very handsome and well realised figure – appropriate for its price. Of course, Misa’s sultry nature means this isn’t a figure for every collection, especially since you can’t fully conceal her nipples. As well as that, Raita’s distinct art-style – known for exaggerated proportions – can be divisive.
Still, I’d recommend picking her up if you like what you see. Aftermarket prices are (at time of writing) only a little higher than her RRP, hovering between ¥17,000 and ¥18,000. You won’t be disappointed!
Ques Q’s Suzuhara Misa figure is a high quality and highly appealing figure, and well worth the asking price. However, the lack of nipple coverage might be a turn off for people who don’t want nudie bits on display.
