8Doors: Arum’s Afterlife Adventure, a hand-drawn metroidvania-style game from Rootless Studio, is set to launch on Steam and GOG on 8 April.
8Doors is a story-rich adventure game based on the Korean myth of Princess Bari. The story follows Arum as she ventures into the afterlife in search of her father’s soul. Along the way, she’ll navigate a treacherous path through purgatory, represented in shades of grey and red.
Arum can wield 7 different weapons and a variety of skills to tackle the 8 Doors of Purgatory – each its own distinct region – and battle the monsters and bosses in her path.
