Aeterna Noctis (a 2D hand-drawn metroidvania from Aeternum Game Studio and SIE Spain) has revealed a new narrative trailer.
Aeterna Noctis tells the story of the King of Darkness and the Queen of Light, cursed to fight each other eternally in a never-ending conflict (they’re immortal, you see). Players will experience the ongoing battle through 16 challenging levels. As players progress, they can improve the King of Darkness through a three-pronged skill tree with branches focused on melee, survivability or magic.
Devloped as part of the PlayStation Talents project, Aeterna Noctis will launch exclusively on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in December 2021.
