Another year brings another holiday-themed event to Pokémon Masters EX, running from now until December 31 at 9:59 p.m. PST. Players who login daily during the event can earn up to 1,000 gems and enjoy the festive Pokémon Centre makeover.
An in-game story event titled “Deck the Halls” is available for players who have completed Chapter 1 of the Main Story. This event features Erika and Skyla in their festive attire as they work together to decorate a large tree and bring joy to the island of Pasio.
Of course, players can add the stars of the event to their roster of sync pairs via their respective Spotlight Scout, as well as a new step-up scouting system. Both sync pairs have their 6★ EX available.
Erika & Comfey are a Fairy-type Support sync pair with powerful healing abilities. Their special move Lei Up! will restore all of your allies’ HP and provide buffs.
Meanwhile, Skyla & Togekiss are a Flying-type Tech sync pair. They’re able to buff your team and unleash moves like Tri-Attack, which has a high probability of leaving the opponent Paralyzed, Burned, or Frozen.
Players who want to pick up the Holiday 2020 sync pairs should act fast, as seasonal sync pairs only appear on special occasions and aren’t a part of the general pool.
Pokémon Masters EX is available to download immediately on Google Play and the App Store.
