The cards are on the table – Dandy Ace is set to release on Steam on 25 March. From Neowiz and Mad Mimic, Dandy Ace is part Action RPG and part Roguelite.
Players take the role of the eponymous Dandy Ace, a fabulous magician who fights with magical cards. Using those cards, they must battle and loot their way to defeat the Green-Eyed Illusionist, Lele, who has trapped Ace in a Cursed Mirror.
Dandy Ace offers a roguelite experience on an isometric 2D plane. Players engage in fast paced battles by using different combinations of cards for a broad variety of attacks. As they try, die and try again, players will accumulate permanent upgrades to help them progress further each time.
For the streamers out there, Dandy Ace also offers Twitch integration. Viewers will be able to aid or hinder the streamer as they call the shots inside the Cursed Mirror.
Dandy Ace will release on Steam on 25 March, with releases for PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch planned for later in the year. If you’d like to try out the game ahead of launch, make sure to check out the demo on Steam.
