Team 17 and Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team (whew!) have announced that The Knight Witch will launch on 29th November for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.

The Knight Witch blends fast-paced shoot ’em up combat with exploration and deck building. Players take up arms as the Knight Witch Rayne and use her powers to navigate waves of monsters in order to save her loved ones and her home.

Rayne’s playstyle is customisable – players can upgrade her Knight abilities for a fast-paced shoot ’em up experience, or strengthen her Witch magic and explore different deckbuilding strategies with over 40 unique spell cards. Knight Witches also grow stronger through earning gratitude and trust, which can be earned in many ways – although not all of them are sincere. It’s up to players whether they choose popularity over honesty.

The Knight Witch also offers helpful accessibility and assist options so that players of all abilities can enjoy the game. Players can turn Rayne invincible, implement an intuitive auto-aim system, and activate a focus system to help guide them through the labyrinthine city of Dungeonidas.

If you can’t wait ’til November to wield the power of a Knight Witch, then Super Mega Team has good news. A free demo is available to download on Steam until 10th October so that players can get an early taste of the game.
