Sad news today, as Bandai Namco has announced that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Shooters is not To Be Continued.

Stardust Shooters launched on Android and iOS in March 2014, and is set to close down on 13 April, 2021. Players will no longer be able to make in-game purchases after 12 March, 2021.

In it’s 7 years, the game covered content from the first five parts of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Two other mobile games released during its life-span – Diamond Records (which closed down in November 2019) and Pitter-Patter Pop (still ongoing). Despite it’s long tenure, the game never released in the West.

This is actually a bit of a personal one for me, as I was a fan of the game for some time. I even ran a small guide blog on Tumblr! Unfortunately, I stopped playing when my tablet died and I lost my account. Still, it’s sad to see it go.

Here’s hoping that bigger and better things are on the way for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
