Get ready to become the ultimate Pokémon photographer when New Pokémon Snap launches for Nintendo Switch at the end of April!

The long-awaited sequel to Pokémon Snap for Nintendo 64 will see players visiting the beautiful isles of the Lental Region. Filled with diverse ecosystems from dense jungles to vast deserts, the archipelago of the region is an untouched natural marvel, packed to the brim with Pokémon just waiting to be seen.

With the help of the NEO-ONE, players will work with Professor Mirror and his assistant, Rita, on an ecological survey of the Lental region. Professor Mirror will evaluate the players’ photos, much like Professor Oak did in the past. Players will be able to use gadgets like the fluffruit to interact with Pokémon and open up new snapshot opportunities to help fill their Pokédex. The game will feature Pokémon from the whole series so far.

Players might also discover the mysterious Illumina phenomenon, a strange occurrence found only in the Lental region. Uncovering the mystery of these glowing Pokémon will be one of the players’ tasks in the game.

New Pokémon Snap will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Preorders are available on the eShop starting today. For more info you can check out the official site.
